Privacy statement, supplied in accordance with Article 13 of the Italian Data Protection Act (Italian Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003, containing the Unified Act governing the protection of individuals and other parties in relation to the processing of personal details)

We would like to inform you, in accordance with the terms of Article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003, containing the Italian Data Protection Act (from now on referred to here as the “Act”), that the information and details you supply by filling out the various fields of the electronic form shall be subject to processing operations that comply with the aforementioned legislation and with the confidentiality policy of CarNext Italia S.r.l.
By “processing of personal details” we mean any operation or set of operations, carried out with or without the use of IT tools, concerning the collection, registration, organisation, storage, consultation, elaboration, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, utilisation, interconnection, blocking, communication, diffusion, cancellation or deletion of details, even if those details are not recorded on a database.
In accordance with the terms of the Act, the processing operations carried out by CarNext Italia S.r.l. shall be based on the principles of fairness, lawfulness and transparency, and shall not compromise your rights, including your right to privacy.
In accordance with Article 13 of the Act, we hereby provide you with the following information.
The processing operations we intend to carry out:
a) have the following purposes: to allow for the receipt and management of information requests geared towards the subsequent delivery of the services illustrated online from time to time.
b) shall be carried out using the following methods: electronically or manually, with the possibility of the electronic form you have completed being printed out.
c) the details may be disclosed to third parties involved in the delivery of the services illustrated online from time to time and on which you have requested information. In accordance with the terms of Letter d), Paragraph 1 of Article 13 of the Act, we also hereby inform you about the parties or categories of parties to which your personal details may be disclosed or that may become aware of them in the performance of their duties as Data Processing Managers (if appointed) or Data Processing Operatives: staff of CarNext Italia S.r.l.; those responsible for managing the services illustrated online from time to time and on which you have requested information; those responsible for managing and maintaining the website; other parties within the business units of CarNext Italia S.r.l. involved in the management or provision of the services.
Your personal details will not be disclosed to other parties.
You are hereby informed that the supplying of your details (with reference to the fields defined as “required” and marked with an asterisk in the online form) is optional, but please be aware that failure to supply your details could make it impossible to provide the service and to manage your requests.
In addition, it is entirely optional and non-compulsory for you to grant your consent for the processing of your personal details in order to: conduct studies, research and statistical analysis of the market; send you advertising and informative material; conduct direct-sales, or product/service placement operations; send you commercial information; implement interactive commercial communications in accordance with the terms of Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (the Italian Consumer Code) through the use – on the part of the supplier – of the telephone, e-mail, fax or automated calling systems without the intervention of an operator. It is also optional to grant your consent for the receipt of unrequested commercial communications in accordance with the terms of Article 9 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 70 of 9 April 2003, implementing the EU Directive on Electronic Commerce (2000/31/CEE), which states that unrequested commercial communications must be immediately and unequivocally identifiable as such and must contain an option for the recipient to oppose the receipt of similar communications in the future. Should you decide to withhold your consent in relation to processing operations with the commercial purposes described above, said decision shall have no consequences of any type whatsoever.

The details will be stored at the Data Controller’s offices for the period of time set out in the reference legislation. You are hereby informed that your details will be collected, processed and safeguarded in full compliance with the terms of Article 31 and subsequent articles of the Act and of the Technical Specifications – Appendix B of the Act – on security measures.
The details will also be processed in full compliance with the self-regulation guidelines on the processing of personal details contained in the relevant Code of Ethics. With reference to the use on the website of technologies and/or techniques for accessing information stored on the computer of a subscriber or user, storing information or monitoring the user’s operations, you are hereby informed that said utilisation will be made for specific legitimate purposes relating to technical storage for the period of time strictly necessary for the transmission of the communication or for the provision of a specific service that you have requested. In accordance with Article 122 of the Act, we hereby inform you that the purposes and the duration of the treatment are specified in the general privacy policy document, which can be accessed on this site by clicking on the following link: http://www.carnext.it/privacy.
You can contact the Data Controller at any time, with no formal obligations, to request confirmation of the presence or absence of your details on the company’s databases. You may also request to be informed as to the content of the details held and their origin, or to verify their accuracy. In addition, you can request that the details be completed, updated or rectified (Article 7 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003).
In accordance with the terms of the aforementioned article, you have the right to request that your details be cancelled or made anonymous, or that access be blocked to any details processed unlawfully. You can also oppose, for legitimate reasons, the processing of your details.
